As a learning organization, we are dedicated to sharing our knowledge in patient safety and collaborating with partners to improve our healthcare system. Through the Community of Competence™, we work with experts around the country and the world to bring ideas and innovations that can vastly change health care in the U.S.
In 2009, the Health Sciences Institute (HIS) was incorporated as the educational
arm of our Foundation for community outreach and publications. In our Patient Safety
Products page, we provide a number of useful patient safety resources, including
our Fact Sheets, Patient Safety Checklists©, and various directories and instruction
manuals. You also can find our white papers and other manuscripts pertaining to
our current research and educational projects.
